The Alpha Tax-Deferred Annuity Program is designed for investors seeking disciplined risk management, superior total returns over 3 - 5 year time periods, with no declining annual periods. The secondary objective is tax-deferral.

In order to achieve these objectives, Alpha manages this program based on the Election Cycle Portfolio - an asset allocation formula derived from the theory that the four-year presidential election cycle has a profound and consistent affect on the stock market. The Election Cycle Portfolio is available using the Midland National Vector II annuity. Alpha's management fee of 35 b.p. is included in the M&E of 1.65%. The Vector II annuity also features a Lifetime 5 rider available for both spouses at an additional 65 b.p.

Midland National has selling agreements with most firms so this product is probably available to you immediately.

In this program, Alpha uses the PIMCO Total Return Fund and the PIMCO Real Return Fund as our fixed-income component. See Masters II performance chart for the comparative performance of these funds to their benchmarks.

The equity component uses a variety of large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap funds.

For Fee Only Planners and Advisors

The Election Cycle Portfolio is also available using the Jefferson National Monument Advisor no-load variable annuity as the investment vehicle. This annuity charges a low fee of $20 per month for administrative expenses. It has no additional features, such as guaranteed death benefits, income riders, etc. It is, as far as we know, the least expensive, no frills, tax-deferred format in the industry.
